Overseas Subsidiary Establishment in Chennai, India
- Strengthening Product Development Systems including Web Analytics Solution Visionalist -
Ichigaya, Tokyo (Japan), July 28, 2008 - Digital Forest Inc, a leading developer and provider in the web analytics field, including the winning solution Visionalist and online marketing consulting & system development services in Japan, announced the establishment of its 100 percent owned subsidiary Digital Forest Software Private Limited in Chennai, India (Tamil Nadu State). Digital Forest Inc. intends to decentralize a part of its system software development activities, starting with the strengthening of Visionalist software functionalities, to its Indian development center. The subsidiary is fully operational since July 1st, 2008.
India is experiencing a dramatic economic growth and development is expected in the future. The country is also known as a source of top-class software engineers, offering high-quality product development, specifically in the IT industry.
Digital Forest aims at securing top talents, and developing high-quality products by establishing the subsidiary in Chennai, a famous software development center city in India, known for its high quality educational institutions.
This summer, Digital Forest Inc is planning to release the English version of its ground breaking web analytics solution Visionalist, and Digital Forest Software Private Limited is expected to support the foregoing development of the Multilanguage version.
Digital Forest Software Private Limited currently employs a team of 10 engineers that already contribute to the product development process. To strengthen the development system, the subsidiary plans to actively recruit new talents in the near future.
The opening of Digital Forest Software Private Limited Chennai together with the well performing subsidiary in Dalian, China, creates a 3-pole development center between Japan, China and India with the purpose of improving products and services related to web marketing while ensuring sustainable cost competitiveness.
